Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical and Tunneling Team. The role supports field observations, subsurface investigations, and design for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and underground structures.

You will draft reports, coordinate inspections, and collaborate with disciplines to deliver geotechnical work across New England, including travel to multiple offices. Strong communication and software skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with geotech/tunneling focus.
• 5–7 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in design software and technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate field observations of subsurface investigations.
• Design and analyze geotechnical aspects for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and walls.
• Draft memoranda, data reports, and design reports.
• Coordinate geotechnical construction inspections.
• Assist in reports and contract documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Develop geotechnical work in New England and beyond.
• Maintain QC standards for measurements, data analysis, and reporting.
