Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical and Tunneling Team in the New England region, including Worcester, MA. You will lead field investigations, analyze soils and rock, and develop geotechnical reports for bridges, tunnels, and underground structures.

The role requires 5–7 years of geotechnical experience, strong communication, and proficiency with industry software. A Master’s degree is preferred; travel across the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical or Tunneling focus.
• 5–7 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
• Knowledge of related disciplines (Structures, Civil, Environmental).
• Proficiency with geotechnical design software and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform/coordinate field observation and subsurface investigations.
• Design/analyze geotechnical systems for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and underground structures.
• Prepare geotechnical memoranda and design reports.
• Coordinate geotechnical work across New England and other areas.
