Job summary

WSP is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Lead to join our Geotechnical and Tunneling Team. This role can sit in multiple New England offices, including Glastonbury, MA and surrounding locations.

You will lead geotechnical design for bridges, tunnels, and foundations, oversee cross-functional teams, and progress projects from inception to completion with a focus on safety and code compliance. The position requires a PE license and 7–10 years of experience in geotechnical or tunneling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical or Tunneling focus.
• Engineer license required; 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical writing and report drafting ability.
• Proficiency with geotechnical design software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analyses for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and related structures.
• Prepare memoranda, data reports, and design reports; present findings.
• Coordinate geotechnical work across New England and other areas.
• Manage multi-project teams, budgets, and resource tracking.
• Develop advanced technologies and modeling approaches within geotechnical practice.
