Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Professional Geotechnical Engineer to lead challenging geotechnical projects across infrastructure, industrial, and land developments.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our Oregon or Washington offices and will collaborate with internal multidisciplinary design teams and our geotechnical, geohazard, geomorphology, and materials testing experts across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines for planning and executing work.
• Lead projects, proposals, design tasks and oversee calculations.
• Mentor, coach, and train less experienced professionals to grow the team.
• Manage projects with engineers and geologists and coordinate design tasks.
• Prepare technical reports and design drawings across multiple design stages.
