Job summary

Stantec's Geotechnical Engineering practice is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in the US South Region, delivering geotechnical design and construction solutions for water infrastructure projects.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams from proposals through final design and construction, mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and build client relationships across geotechnical projects. Travel to project sites and other offices will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with reciprocity is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver geotechnical projects for dams, levees, and water infrastructure.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams through proposals to final design and construction.
• Develop cost-effective, practical geotechnical designs and solutions.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and contract terms and scope of work.
• Mentor and train future leaders and develop succession plans.
• Develop client relationships and grow the practice.
