Job summary

Stantec invites an experienced Professional Geotechnical Engineer to join our team working from Oregon or Washington offices. You will lead diverse geotechnical projects across infrastructure, industrial, and land developments, and collaborate with geotechnical and geomorphology experts across the US and Canada.

You will mentor staff, manage multiple projects, and develop technical reports while traveling regionally to project sites.

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years' work experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Bachelors degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Oregon and/or Washington professional engineer license preferred, or ability to obtain within 3 months by comity.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines.
• Lead projects, proposals, design tasks and oversee calculations as required.
• Manage projects and tasks with a team of engineers and geologists.
• Mentor and train less experienced professionals.
• Lead preparation of technical reports and design drawings.
• Promote collaboration across geoscience teams.
