HDR, Inc. invites a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Water Business Group, shaping groundwater and infrastructure projects across multiple states. You will lead investigations, analyze geotechnical data, and coordinate with design teams to implement recommendations.

The role emphasizes active participation in our employee-owned culture, collaboration across disciplines, and delivering high-impact solutions for public health and safety. A PE license and extensive experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the local licensing board.
• Experience with geotechnical software and design tools.
• Experience with numerical modeling methods and Bentley/PLAXIS/Itasca.
• Knowledge of geotechnical data management and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities with major impact.
• Participate in marketing efforts for clients.
• Organize and coordinate geotechnical investigations for projects.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and coordinate with designers.
• Possibly serve as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects.
