Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PE license recognized by local board.
• 10 years of geotechnical experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the position's location.
• Experience with GIS, CADD, and MS Office.
• Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft for slope stability/settlement.
• Experience with Bentley suite (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog).
• Knowledge of numerical modeling: Finite Difference/Finite Element/Discrete Element; Bentley/PLAXIS/Itasca FLAC.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities with significant impact.
• Participate in marketing efforts for internal and external clients.
• Organize, conduct, and coordinate geotechnical investigations for transportation and other projects.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare reports; coordinate with designers.
• Serve as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects when needed.
• Supervise professionals, technicians and design teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
