American Engineering Testing Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead project testing services, apply engineering principles, and guide a multidisciplinary team. The role requires independence across conventional geotechnical tasks and coordination with clients.

The position emphasizes field and office work, client interaction, and professional development. Candidates should have PE licensure and the ability to travel regionally, with base location options in several states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with 10+ years of related experience.
• Advanced degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering with 8+ years preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Ability to obtain registrations in other states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex geotechnical projects and direct a project team across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate client interactions, budgeting, scheduling, invoicing, and quality control.
• Prepare formal geotechnical reports with recommendations.
• Assign staff to field testing and supervise data collection.
• Review and sign technical reports and correspondence.
• Support marketing and business development to meet department goals.
