American Engineering Testing (AET) is hiring a senior geotechnical engineer to coordinate and lead testing services across multiple sites in the US. You will mentor junior staff, perform critical reports, and drive project success with client-focused solutions.

The role requires a PE (or ability to obtain licensure in other states), extensive field and office work, and travel within the assigned regional area. Base locations include Williston, Dickinson, Sheridan, and surrounding cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geological Engineering plus 10+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• PE registration preferred; ability to obtain registration in other states as required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead multi-disciplinary geotechnical projects from authorization to completion.
• Prepare and review formal geotechnical engineering reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate field testing and staff assignments; ensure quality control and budget adherence.
• Develop proposals and support business development targets for the department.
• Travel within regional area; occasional out-of-town assignments and outdoor fieldwork.
