CDM Smith is seeking a senior geotechnical/civil engineer to lead complex infrastructure projects across the United States, including dams, reservoirs, levees, and deep foundations. This role guides designs from investigation through final delivery and mentors junior engineers while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and project demands.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilités

• Create excavation, dewatering, shallow/deep foundations, dams/reservoirs/levees, geo-environmental projects; design basic to high complexity meeting client requirements.
• Review designs for compliance with regulations and sign off on completed designs.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and mentors; support proposals and client meetings.
• Collaborate with sales staff to develop proposals; attend conferences to raise visibility of firm’s products and services.
