CDM Smith in the United States (Florida) is seeking a senior Geotechnical/Civil Engineer to own complex earthwork and foundation designs for infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and advance technical practices in the firm.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel up to 10% or less; candidates based in Florida within commuting distance to a CDM Smith office are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelors in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Create excavation, dewatering, shallow/deep foundation, dams/reservoirs, levees, and geo-environmental designs.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations; sign off on designs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff; mentor engineers.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams; develop proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Supervise junior engineers on project work when required.
