Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geoenvironmental Consultant to lead groundwater assessments and supervise field investigations in the UK. You will interpret data, prepare risk assessments and technical reports for clients, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have MSc level qualification, active Chartered status or progression toward it, and experience in contaminated-site management and consulting environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related field; MSc preferred.
• Chartered or working towards it with a recognised body.
• Experience in groundwater studies for contaminated-site management, ideally in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead groundwater assessments and supervise field investigations.
• Prepare risk assessments and technical reports for clients.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and client communications.
