Job summary

Illumina is seeking a Manager, Healthcare Sales to lead district sales efforts across the Central US. You will own revenue forecasts, guide a sales team, and drive adoption of genomic diagnostics in hospital systems.

The role requires 8+ years in clinical diagnostics sales, 1-3 years in leadership, and deep genomics domain knowledge. A Bachelor’s degree is expected. The position includes a competitive base salary and bonus/commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of sales experience in Clinical Diagnostics, Hospital/Healthcare, and Life Science industries.
• 1-3 years of sales management experience in the same sectors.
• Solid understanding of genetics, genomics and molecular pathology.
• Experience selling capital equipment and related diagnostic products.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at high levels and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own district revenue and forecasting.
• Forecast customer demand (quantities, dollars, orders, shipments).
• Ensure sales staff achieve forecasts and develop improvement plans.
• Utilize documentation tools (Salesforce.com) and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and monitor district business plan to meet budget.
• Recruit, develop, retain, and manage district sales team.
• Motivate team to meet targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
