Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Engineer in Generator Product Service to anchor technical work across customer sites and global teams. You will own complex generator and electrical system problems end-to-end, mentor engineers, and contribute to safety communications and strategic programs.

The role requires hands-on engineering, strong communication, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including on short notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; total experience valued over formal degree
• 5+ years of experience in generator engineering and technology
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally, including short notice

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations from fault identification through CAPA and prevention
• Serve as the technical authority for generator and electrical system designs
• Be the face of GE Vernova's technical expertise at customer sites and industry events
• Author and publish Technical Information Letters, Product Service Safety Bulletins, and safety alerts
• Support service fulfillment and New Product Introduction initiatives
• Mentor and develop a team of generator and electrical systems engineers
