Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of power industry project management, design, or operation experience.
• Must be an accredited Professional Engineer if working from Canada.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate engineering and design of assigned projects and technical aspects of the contract.
• Coordinate timely decision making on project technical issues with internal authorities as necessary.
• Establish and manage the technical interface between engineers, customers, and subcontractors.
• Provide oversight for subcontractor engineering work on assigned projects.
• Identify technical risks and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure activities comply with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.
• Support proposals with technical portions and provide project progress updates to management.
