Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States seeks an Engineer Generator and Electrical Systems Product Service Engineer to collaborate with global teams and strengthen expertise in generator and electrical system technology. Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in generator engineering or related technology.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to travel 5–10% domestically and internationally and to work off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global cross functional teams to build expertise in generator and electrical system technology.
  • Support root cause investigations for issues with significant fleet impact, from initial investigation through the CAPA phase.
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests for technical issue resolution, using technical product knowledge and analytical skills as well as SME guidance.
  • Escalate fleet issues and drive corrective actions with design engineering and site teams.
  • Establish collaboration with manufacturing, sourcing, service operations, quality, and design engineering to address issues.
  • Communicate progress to operators and executive leaders; support customer meetings and presentations.
  • Assist in authoring knowledge articles and customer communications (TILs, PSSBs, PSIBs, safety communications).
  • Travel to customer locations to support technical reviews as required.
