Job summary

GE Vernova's GE Gas Power division seeks a Senior Generator Project Engineer to provide technical direction and coordinate engineering activities for OTR-related generator projects in the Americas. This role reports to the Project Engineering Leader and interfaces with EPCs and customers to ensure contract compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement, lead design reviews, support scheduling and budgeting, and present issue resolutions to upper management. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Gas Turbine Projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel ~10% and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for customer technical inquiries, change requests, and communications for generator topics.
• Incorporate lessons learned into design to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Applications Engineering.
• Lead CKOMs/DLMs with customers and EPCs to align expectations.
• Review contract docs and communicate project requirements across design functions.
