Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Generator Project Engineer to provide technical leadership and coordination for OTR-related generator projects. You will liaise with customers and EPCs to ensure design and equipment meet contract requirements and drive continuous improvement in project execution.

The role requires 8+ years in project/design/field engineering for gas turbine projects, travel around 10%, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent with 8+ years in project/design/field engineering for gas turbine projects.
Ability and willingness to travel up to ~10%.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with customers and EPCs.
Strong leadership communication and multi-priority management skills.

Responsibilities

Act as single point of contact for customer technical inquiries and change requests for generator and auxiliaries.
Guide design teams and project management to meet contract requirements and schedules.
Coordinate CKOMs/DLMs with customers and EPCs and document requirements across functions.
Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and implement via Change Orders.
