Job summary

CVS Health seeks an experienced AI/ML engineering leader to design, build, and operationalize scalable GenAI solutions across AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI. You'll work on data pipelines, vector search, and agentic frameworks in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure responsible AI and compliance while optimizing cost and performance for real-world healthcare applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale software development.
• 5+ years in solution architecture or system design.
• 5+ years building large-scale microservices/APIs using Node.js.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with GCP and AWS (serverless, event-driven, AI/ML, CI/CD).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Production experience with agentic AI frameworks and RAG architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of advanced ML models and algorithms for healthcare problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and IT to define projects.
• Define performance metrics and evaluation methodologies for ML models.
• Design scalable data pipelines, preprocessing, and model training.
• Advise on data pipelines, training processes, and infrastructure performance.
• Present technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
