Job summary

IES Communications in MCCARRAN, Nevada seeks a General Superintendent to lead a large on-site project, ensuring safety, quality, staffing, and financial performance align with company requirements.

You will recruit and manage staff, coordinate with customer representatives, monitor profitability, scheduling, and project costs to ensure timely completion. Travel within the territory may be required; high school diploma and 5+ years in supervisory roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with a computer and skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, create an estimate, develop tasks and manage to completion.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, or discharge project staff per company policy.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan for and monitor project profitability and deadlines.
• Oversee workload distribution and staffing levels.
• Review job cost postings and prepare invoices and reports.
• Ensure quality checks and safety compliance on site.
• Monitor processes across estimating, purchasing, invoicing, warehousing and scheduling.
