Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a General Superintendent to lead and supervise multi-site heavy civil construction projects in Georgia. You will manage schedules, coordinate with field teams and sub-contractors, and ensure safety and quality across the project scope.

The role requires extensive site leadership, strong communication, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, with STS preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 9+ years as a Superintendent.
• STS certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required.
• Knowledge of local union or prevailing wage rules.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Mathematical reasoning for project estimates and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and schedules for assigned project work.
• Reviews project specifications to support setup at locations and coordinates with crews and utility companies.
• Coordinates with teams to ensure adequate equipment/materials within budget and schedule.
• Forecasts schedules and provides recommendations to mitigate production issues.
• Identifies project risks and documents activities and meetings.
• Supports and enforces safety and process controls on site.
• Supervises subcontractor work and adjusts schedules or methods as needed.
