FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead complex heavy civil construction projects in Los Angeles. You will plan methods, coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires extensive field leadership, strong communication, and the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications. A Bachelor's degree is a plus; STS certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 3+ years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree considered a plus.
• STS certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and enforcing safety programs.
• Knowledge of local union or prevailing wage rules.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract plans.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsabilités

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work; review daily/weekly schedules.
• Review project specs and work with crews to identify hazardous areas on site.
• Coordinate with equipment teams and vendors to match budget and schedule.
• Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks, including methods and safety.
• Support strict adherence to safety and process controls; identify training needs.
• Supervise sub-contractor production and adjust schedules as needed.
