Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead multi-site heavy civil projects. You will plan methods, schedules, and equipment, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

Candidate should have 15+ years of heavy civil construction and 9+ years as a superintendent, with a valid driver’s license and preferably an STS certification. The role is on-site with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 9+ years as a Superintendent.
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work; reviews and updates monthly schedule.
• Reviews project specs to support setup; collaborates with crews, field engineers and utilities to identify hazards.
• Coordinates with internal/external teams to ensure equipment and materials meet budget and schedule.
• Forecasts work schedule and provides recommendations to mitigate production issues.
• Provides input to identify and resolve project risks including methods, safety and schedule activities; documents daily activities.
• Supports adherence to safety and process controls for equipment use and site safety.
• Supervises subcontractor production and workforce; recommends schedule/method adjustments as needed.
