Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead construction projects, plan methods, schedule work, and supervise production and workforce. You will coordinate with crews, engineers, and utilities to ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in heavy civil construction, 5+ years in construction management, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor's degree is a plus, with STS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• STS certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of site safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, and schedules for projects.
• Review project specs and coordinate with crews, field engineers, and utilities to identify hazards.
• Coordinate with equipment teams and vendors to ensure proper resources within budget.
• Forecast schedules and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Identify project risks and document daily activities and meetings.
• Promote safety and process controls; identify training needs.
• Supervise subcontractor production and adjust schedules as needed.
