Job summary

L.F. Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a General Superintendent for a data center construction project in Butler Township, PA. You will supervise subcontracted work forces, coordinate field activities, and ensure safety and quality across the project.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of field experience, with preferred mission-critical data center background and proven supervisory roles. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for discretionary bonus

Qualifications

• 15+ years of field experience.
• Mission Critical (Data Center) experience preferred.
• Experience should include supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains reports describing project status.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others.
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements and interfaces with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules.
• Ensures safety in the operation area and that tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
