Job summary

L.F. Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to support a data center construction project in Butler Township, PA.

The General Superintendent will manage field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted trades to meet schedule and budget targets. Responsibilities include developing schedules, coordinating with the Project Manager and client reps, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing manpower, materials, and

Qualifications

• 15+ years of field experience.
• Mission Critical (Data Center) experience is preferred.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains reports on project status.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; multiple Superintendents on large projects.
• Ensures safety standards are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others.
• Analyzes manpower, material and equipment requirements and interfaces with others as designated.
• Implements and enforces policies and procedures established by field construction management.
