Suffolk is seeking a General Superintendent to provide overarching leadership for field operations and project execution. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence while mentoring field teams and coordinating with clients and design professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of general contracting experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Strong business judgment to balance budget and processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and execution for assigned project(s).
• Develop relationships with clients and architects to drive client satisfaction.
• Recruit, mentor, and train field staff to match project scope.
• Provide guidance on materials, sequencing, scheduling, and construction methods.
• Oversee baseline schedules and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Engage in pre-construction activities and quantify staffing needs.
