Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to provide leadership and strategic direction for field operations on projects. In this role, you will mentor superintendents and collaborate closely with project leadership and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 15 years of general contracting experience. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience relative to size/scope of projects is necessary.
• Business judgment to balance budget and construction processes.
• Judgment to escalate issues appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project conformance with schedule and quality levels.
• Develop relationships with clients and architects.
• Provide leadership to field staff regarding methods of construction.
