Job summary

EY is hiring a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day GL, AP, and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with period-end close, audits, and compliance.

Strong collaboration across finance teams and use of advanced tools like Copilot are expected. You will also help with testing of Costpoint enhancements, develop procedures, and provide timely financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with government contracting and general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger structures and configurations in line with design documentation.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS compliance and EY policies.
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and close activities.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per policies.
• Train staff on systems, policies and external requirements.
