Job summary

Etched.ai is hiring a General Ledger Accountant, Close to own critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy of the general ledger and reliable financial reporting, while building scalable close workflows.

Collaborate with AP, AR, Inventory, and Payroll teams, and contribute to process improvements and controls as the company scales. Strong accounting experience and technical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience owning close processes end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle; scale systems in high growth.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own close calendar and coordinate tasks across accounting and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare, post, and review journal entries including accruals and intercompany
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely.
• Prepare flux analyses for balance sheet and P&L, explain variances.
• Ensure subledgers tie out to the general ledger each period.
• Support external and internal audits and maintain close documentation.
