Ensurety Ventures is seeking a motivated General Ledger Accountant to join our Accounting team in the United States. You will ensure the integrity of financial records through accurate transaction processing, close activities, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Record daily banking transactions and cash activity accurately and timely.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reconciliations for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and other balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate reconciling items, determine root causes, and resolve discrepancies with support.
• Calculate and record deferred revenue and revenue recognition entries per policy and GAAP.
• Support audit with schedules and documentation.
