U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and operationalize enterprise-scale GenAI solutions.

You will work across teams to translate complex requirements into production-ready AI capabilities aligned with security and risk standards. The role emphasizes hands-on GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions at enterprise scale.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of GenAI projects from architecture to production.
• Establish logging, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms for production AI systems.
• Ensure secure deployment, observability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, risk, and security functions.
