Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an IT engineer to deliver enterprise software applications and foundational workflows using Claude Code and agentic development tooling. You will design, implement, and improve AI-generated code, APIs, and deployment pipelines within a fast-moving, security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include architecting new solutions, modernizing legacy systems, and partnering with product teams to translate needs into functional designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computing field with professional experience.
• Experience deploying production software in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with cloud architectures and API development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design sound, scalable software solutions using Claude Code.
• Evaluate legacy systems to build high-performance replacements.
• Code complex applications with agentic development tools and pair programming.
• Provide support and continuous improvement of AI-generated codebases and deployment pipelines.
• Triage, debug, and resolve performance, security, and data handling issues.
