Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an experienced software engineer to architect and deliver scalable enterprise applications with Claude Code and agentic workflows. You will evaluate legacy systems, design modular AI-enabled software, and drive MVPs through rapid prototyping while ensuring security and operational reliability.

You will collaborate across business units to translate software needs into robust system designs, mentor teammates, and uphold GE Aerospace engineering guardrails in a fast-moving AI

Qualifications

Formal software engineering education or equivalent experience.
Experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise software.
Familiarity with AI/ML development tooling and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

Architect sound, maintainable technical solutions for new software apps built with Claude Code.
Evaluate legacy systems to determine capabilities for replacements using generative tools.
Code modular applications using Claude Code and agentic frameworks.
Provide support and continuous improvement of AI-generated codebases and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with business units to translate needs into system designs and MVPs.
