Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a skilled IT engineer to deliver enterprise software applications using Claude Code and agentic workflows. You will architect, build, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions while ensuring security and compliance across GE Aerospace’s global workforce and customers.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, MVP development, and evaluating make vs buy options to optimize internal velocity and external SaaS alternatives. Remote work is supported with enterprise-grade capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Experience with modern git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience operating in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Claude Code and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design sound software solutions using Claude Code and agentic workflows.
• Evaluate legacy systems for replacement with high-performance, solvable apps.
• Code integrated applications with Claude Code and agentic frameworks.
• Provide support, maintenance, and improvements to AI-generated codebases.
• Triage and debug AI-generated code to fix performance and security issues.
• Partner with business units to translate needs into design artifacts.
• Assist leadership in make vs buy strategies by MVPing internally.
