GE Aerospace is seeking an IT engineer to deliver enterprise software using Claude Code and agentic workflows. You will architect scalable applications, replacing legacy systems and prototyping fast to evaluate internal velocity against commercial SaaS options.

The role requires strong software engineering experience, security awareness, and collaboration with multiple business units to translate needs into functional system designs for cloud-native deployments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive software engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Military experience considered equivalent to professional experience.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and design scalable software solutions using Claude Code and agentic workflows.
• Evaluate legacy systems to determine capabilities for replacement apps.
• Code complex, modular applications using Claude Code.
• Maintain and improve AI-generated codebases and deployment pipelines.
• Triage and debug performance, data handling, and security issues in AI-generated code.
• Collaborate with business units to translate software needs into designs.
• Support MVPs to compare internal velocity with SaaS options.
• Develop APIs and web interfaces for cloud-native deployments.
