Zusammenfassung

GE Aerospace is seeking a remote IT software engineer to architect and develop enterprise-grade applications using Claude Code and agentic workflows. You will collaborate with multiple business units to translate needs into functional system designs and MVPs for rapid evaluation against commercial SaaS options.

You will code complex, modular applications, maintain AI-generated codebases and deployment pipelines, and ensure security and compliance within GE Aerospace guardrails.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years software engineering experience
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Aufgaben

• Architect and design sound software solutions using Claude Code and agentic workflows
• Evaluate legacy systems to build high-performance replacement applications
• Code modular applications and maintain AI-generated codebases and deployment pipelines
• Triage and debug AI-generated code for performance, data handling, and security issues
• Collaborate with business units to translate needs into agentic prompt parameters and system designs
• Develop and deploy MVPs to evaluate internal velocity vs. SaaS offerings
• Build APIs and cloud-native web experiences
• Document architecture changes and coding patterns for future iteration
