Job summary

The Gasoline Engine Controls Development Engineer at Stellantis will design and enhance control algorithms for gasoline engines, working with a cross-functional team and using vehicles, HIL, dyno, and virtual environments to ensure robust production software.

You will interface with calibration and systems teams to translate requirements into implementable strategies, validate designs across virtual and physical environments, and share technical insights with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent knowledge of internal combustion engines and control principles.
• Experience in data acquisition and engine development knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing algorithms for engine controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements and timelines.
• Validate designs against requirements in virtual and physical environments.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and expert field oversight.
