Stellantis NV is seeking a Gasoline Engine Controls Development Engineer to develop and enhance control algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and calibration groups to ensure robust production-ready software.

You will implement designs, validate them in virtual and physical environments, and contribute to planning, progress tracking, and technical reporting to leadership. Expertise in engine control strategies and modern control principles is essential.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of internal combustion engines.
• Knowledge of modern and classical control principles.
• Experience in data acquisition, including collecting and processing data.
• Working knowledge of engine development, emissions development, engine technologies, and competitive products.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new features and enhance existing algorithms for production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with calibration teams to understand requirements.
• Implement designs efficiently and validate against requirements in virtual and physical environments.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and expert input in control strategy design.
• Track plans, progress, and present technical reports to management and project chiefs.
• Support decision-making on control strategy to meet functional objectives.
