Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a Gasoline Engine Controls Development Engineer to create features and improve algorithms for production use. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team across virtual and physical environments, ensuring calibration friendliness and regulatory compliance.

You’ll guide and train teammates, present technical findings, and help shape control strategy decisions to meet program timelines and functional requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in engine controls or similar domains.
• Excellent knowledge of internal combustion engines and control principles.
• Experience with data acquisition and engine development, emissions, and related technologies.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and enhance control algorithms for gasoline engines.
• Interface with cross functional teams to understand requirements and strategies.
• Validate designs virtually and physically, ensuring calibration ease and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and act as domain expert.
• Develop plans, track progress, and present reports to management.
