Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking an OBD Gasoline Engine Controls Development Engineer to lead feature development and algorithm enhancements. You will work with cross-functional teams and use vehicle, HIL, dyno, and virtual environments within the V-model to ensure production-ready algorithms.

You will interface with calibration and systems teams, validate designs against requirements in both virtual and physical environments, and provide technical guidance. Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Excellent knowledge of internal combustion engines.
• Knowledge of modern and classical control principles.
• Experience in data acquisition and processing.
• Working knowledge of engine development, emissions development, and competitive products.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
