Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Project Manager to support gas development across hub projects, spanning early-stage assessments through construction readiness and execution. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Construction, and Integrated Supply Chain, requiring disciplined cost and schedule risk management and cross-functional alignment.

You will deliver owner-ready reporting, establish dashboards, and coordinate with EPC/EPCM teams to ensure on-time progress and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of energy project development or large capital construction experience.
• Experience in project controls and schedule development for gas generation or major capital projects.
• Proven ability to manage owner-level reporting, monthly and quarterly progress reports.
• Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project delivery models and contractor bid evaluation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project reporting and executive‑level dashboards for leadership review.
• Maintain project schedules, cost benchmarks, and cashflow models.
• Own the E&C risk register and track scope, schedule, cost, and constructability risks.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain on RFQ inputs and bid evaluation.
• Track long‑lead equipment status and flag supply chain constraints.
• Oversee progress reporting and governance to ensure timely decisions.
