Job summary

BetMGM LLC is seeking a Sr. Gaming Analyst to partner with gaming and BI teams, delivering actionable insights to accelerate growth across Marketing, CRM, casino operations, and poker operations.

The role combines data-driven decision making with cross-functional collaboration and project management across multiple priorities. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in analytics, strong SQL and Python/R skills, and proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• 4+ years commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science.
• Advanced use and understanding of SQL.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience utilizing viz tools like Power BI and Tableau (Power BI and DAX experience is preferred).
• Experience leading analytical strategies across the commercial business.
• Confident presenting recommendations to key stakeholders extending up to the Senior Leadership level.
• Experience working with large and sometimes incomplete and complex data sets.
• Business standard use of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of actionable insights and analysis in response to key business questions.
• Work within a sprint structure to accomplish both short and long-term projects, keeping on track with deadlines.
• Interface with internal stakeholders regularly to identify areas of focus within the business.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, data models, and data-as-a-service solutions to support analytics and business needs.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Manage and maintain codebases through Git version control, ensuring best practices for collaboration, documentation, and deployment.
