Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a seasoned accounting professional to oversee U.S. GAAP compilations, attest work, and related projects for clients in a professional services setting.

You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and collaborate with client teams to deliver quality results. A bachelor's in accounting is required; a master's degree is preferred and CPA is desirable. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of attest services experience in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Excellent communication, client service, relationship building and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues per professional standards.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver superior client service.
• Supervise and mentor staff, evaluating performance on engagements.
• Invest in professional development via training and networking.
• Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and referrals.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards and teamwork.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
