Job summary

The role requires five years of experience in a professional services firm, strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB standards, and excellent communication skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Master's degree or advanced degree is desired.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum five years experience providing attest services in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Strong communication, client service, relationship building, collaboration and problem solving, with initiative and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement and reporting issues per professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements from client operations.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate with clients to deliver superior service.
• Supervise staff through coaching and evaluate performance on engagements.
• Invest in professional development via training sessions and networking events.
• Assist with recruiting, campus recruiting and referrals to the firm.
• Demonstrate teamwork and high ethical standards; travel is limited but possible.
