Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee U.S. GAAP compilations, attest services and related procedures. You will lead and mentor staff, identify accounting issues, and deliver client-focused solutions.

Minimum five years of attest experience in a professional services firm, knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB, and strong communication and collaboration skills are required. Travel is limited but possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Master's degree or higher is desirable.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least five years of attest services experience in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of US GAAP/GAAS and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Strong communication, public speaking, client service and collaboration skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day US GAAP compilations, reporting, agreed-upon procedures and special projects.
• Identify accounting and reporting issues per professional standards.
• Recommend business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Proactively build relationships and deliver superior client service.
• Supervise and mentor staff; evaluate performance on engagements.
• Invest in professional development through training and networking.
• Assist with campus recruiting and refer experienced candidates.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude and high ethics.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
