Job summary

Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm delivering professional services across the U.S. The role oversees day-to-day US GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects, with emphasis on client service and staff supervision.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred, 5+ years in attest services, and strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB standards. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred; Master’s degree desired.
• Minimum five (5) years of attest services experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day US GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues per professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to deliver superior service.
• Supervise staff through counseling and coaching; evaluate performance on engagements.
• Invest in professional development via training and networking.
• Assist with recruiting and participate in referral programs.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills and high ethical standards.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
