Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee U.S. GAAP compilations, attestation and advisory projects. You will identify issues, advise clients on improvements, and supervise staff while growing relationships with clients in a professional services context.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of attest experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB standards. CPA preferred; travel is limited as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience providing attest services in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Strong communication, public speaking, client service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client.
• Supervise and lead staff through guidance and coaching; evaluate performance.
• Participate in recruiting activities and employee referrals.
