Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred, and at least five years in attest services within a professional services firm. Travel is limited; compensation reflects market norms and geographic location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Master's Degree or advanced degree desired.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum five years of attest services experience in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Strong communication, public speaking, client service and relationship skills; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day US GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures and special projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement and reporting issues per professional standards.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to deliver service.
• Supervise and lead staff with coaching and performance evaluation on engagements.
• Invest in professional development through training and networking activities.
• Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and referrals.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
